The premise reminds me a bit of some other YA books I read growing up. One in particular whose name I am completely blanking on. It wasn't done in a reality tv setting, but rather a survival camp type, if I remember right.

The Hunger Games and Catching Fire are such Amazing Books !!!!! I can't wait for book 3, which is rumored to be titled the victors, I think that the victors is a good title.
