Dispatches from across the blogiverse

Regardless of their beliefs, nearly everyone believes in this

Food and friendship and the test of time

This week's fashion "don't" (actually, make that a "no way in hell...")

Do you have a blogging "next-of-kin"...you know, someone who can alert the internet if something happens to you?

  1. Okay, I must agree- a big fat WTF is in order for that fashion don't. I mean, seriously.

Interesting about the blogging 'next of kin'. Since I have a chronic illness, I should probably get me one of those.

I had already seen the etiquette for blog memes and challenges, but I am glad you posted it here because I think it was a terrific post.

  2. Rebecca - I figured that at least some of my readers would have already seen J. Kaye's etiquette post, but thought it was worth linking regardless, since its points aren't limited to book bloggers.

And I don't have a blogging "next of kin" either. I should probably give my husband my blog access info, just in case.

  3. I knew a lady who was a karate sensei. She was divorced from her husband, who used to "accidentally" forget to take his hard cup off after practice. It was clear to me that he was *ahem* trying to make himself look more impressive. The padded "fashion don't" undies reminded me of that. Thanks for a chuckle.

  4. Bridget - I thought the same thing about the ones with the front padding. The ones padded in the back just look ridiculous.

Now it's YOUR turn - speak your piece, please! Or just let me know you were here; I always like that. But you'll have to leave a name - I've disallowed anonymous comments due to some recent spam problems. Thanks!
