Feelin’ quizzical

By the time you check out this collection of my recent experiences with Blogthings, we’ll be on the road – Vegas by lunchtime, Utah tonight, and heading for Yellowstone by Monday night!

You Are a Little Negative…

You can be negative from time to time, but you rarely go overboard.

You have a realistic view of the world, and most people appreciate your honest insights.

Like everyone else, you have your darker moods.

But when you’re feeling super negative, you keep your feelings to yourself.

I think three out of four findings on the following quiz are about right. Which one would you guess is not quite on target for me?

What the Beach Test Says About You

You like people, but you’re careful about who you get close to. Friendship is important to you… so important that you aren’t just friends with anyone.

You fall in love with ease and confidence. Even if you’ve had bad experiences in the past, each new love is a reason to start completely over.

You are deeply passionate about several things in your life. You’re not passionate about much… and the few passions you have are truly obsessions.

Your sense of humor is very physical. Your facial expressions or spot on imitations of people are hilarious.

The Beach Test

One place we won’t be anywhere near on this trip is the beach, I’m pretty sure – we’re headed inland.
========================
Did you ever wonder which TV couple’s relationship most resembles your own? Find out here (via Aisledash). I think I agree with the results I got – mostly. I don’t think we’re creepy, but we can be very kooky…

Crazy In Love
Morticia & Gomez Addams, The Addams Family

Was there ever a more enamoured couple than the Addamses? Gomez and Morticia were nuts about each other, and hey, maybe just a bit nuts themselves. But that’s why you and your man are a perfect match. You’re both passionate, unique and suit each other to a tee – and have no problem expressing how deeply you feel about one another. Your relationship will stand the test of time because the most important thing for you both is your love for each other and your family. Try whispering French, if he’s anything like Gomez, he’ll shower your arms with kisses!

  1. Hi, Florinda. I hope you are enjoying your weekend. It seems like a good day to take a couple of quizzes.

Am I too negative? Just a little, evidently. 🙂

My darn internet server went down before I could post my comment. It’s back up now, thankfully.

    As for the beach:

You like people, but you’re careful about who you get close to. Friendship is important to you… so important that you aren’t just friends with anyone.

You don’t fall in love easily. It takes you a long time to get used to someone. Intimacy doesn’t come easily for you.

You are a passionate person. You are free wheeling, fun loving, and ruled by your emotions.

Your sense of humor is intellectual and obscure. Only really well educated people get your jokes.

And my relationship with my husband is most like Monica & Chandler Bing, Friends
Rachel and Ross may have stolen the spotlight, but the Bings’ slow-building love affair, sparked by a drunken hook-up in London, was the more realistic relationship. Your man may have been more goofball than Greek god when you met, but his warmth and humour won you over, and you both needed time to realize that what you were looking for was there all along. Your relationship will stand the test of time because you know each other inside and out.

  2. I was surprised to find out I am only a little negative. I would have thought I was worse. That’s good, I guess. 🙂

I hope the road trip is going well!

  3. Literary Feline – I always thought Chandler and Monica were a good, well-balanced couple – not bad!

I think your “sense of humor” result on the beach quiz is more accurate for me than the one I actually got.:-)

Mike – This reply comes from Logan, Utah, where we have in-room Wi-Fi. I’ll be offline at Yellowstone for the next few days after this.

I think a little negative isn’t so bad.
