Quiz-tacular

I don’t have a lot of links to share this week, so I’m going to collect some more and wait until next Sunday to post them. Meanwhile, I hit the jackpot on quizzes.

=====================================
I kind of saw this coming, and it makes sense…but damn, I hate to admit that it’s true.

You Should Live in the Suburbs

Like many people, you like the city – but you don’t want to live in it.

For you, the suburbs is the perfect compromise.

You can enjoy the city as much as you want, but you have a quiet, safe neighborhood to come home to.

================================================

I flew through this little quiz, and I thought the results were more accurate than some I’ve gotten lately:

Your Personality at 35,000 Feet Says…

Deep down, you prefer spending time alone to spending time with others. You enjoy thinking more than talking.

You are good with your place in the world. You are confident and comfortable with who you are.

Your gift is having a way with words. You know how to express yourself well.

You are inspired by what is possible. Real life is often too ordinary for you.

You are happy but often stressed out. If you can slow down and appreciate life, you enjoy it a lot more.

===============================================

And here are a couple I found over at MaryP’s blog – they’re ladies-only (sorry guys, no offense!). Ask my husband if he agrees with this one:

You Are Low Maintenance

Otherwise known as “too good to be true”

You’re one laid back chica – and men love that!

Just remember that no good guy likes a doormat.

So if you find your self going along to get along…

Stop yourself and put up a little bit of a fight.

=================================================

I think this one has it just about right:

You’re Confident…Sometimes

You can seem confident when the occasion calls for it

But inside you may be experiencing a bit of self doubt

A little more inner confidence could take you far…

And convince others that you’re as confident as you try to seem

Feeling quizzical? Have at it!

  1. I wandered over from Weekly Geeks. Love the quizzes – they were a lot of fun! Thanks. ~Kristi (Passion for the Page)

  2. I did the suburb test and, not surprisingly, it said I should live in the suburbs. I’m not a city guy at all. Too many people and too hard to get around. But that’s just me. 🙂

  3. Kristi and Amateur de Livre – Thanks to you both for stopping by, and I hope you’ll visit again :-)!

    Mike – I’ve spent most of my life living in suburbs, to be honest…I think it’s the suburban cliches that bother me more than the suburbs themselves.

  4. Tiny Little Librarian – Love your blog name, and thanks for visiting! Weekly Geeks’ first challenge has been a great way to make new blog acquaintances.

  5. Something went terribly wrong on the quiz about where I should live. It said a small town. I LOVE living in a big city!
    Otherwise, the rest ended up pretty much how I expected.

  6. You are popular from the weekly geeks! I like your ‘good reads to be shelf’ and we have a lot of books in common there.
    great quizzes too. I’d say we are the same demographic!

  7. April – My husband’s quiz said he should live in a “small city.” That should have been mine! And I agree you’re definitely a big-city woman.

    Tasses – Thanks for the nice things you said about my blog in your post! I added your blog to my feed subscriptions, and hope to see you here again,

    Raidergirl3 – I need to update that shelf. My LibraryThing widget is actually more up to date. Thanks for stopping by!

  8. Literary Feline – Don’t you live in a small city anyway? 🙂

    I actually think that’s probably my real preference too, as opposed to the ‘burbs.
