Who needs a Kwik-E-Mart?

We're having quite a movie-going summer, but I think the one that's generating the most excitement around our house is the one that's been 18 years in the making, and just might be the Best. Movie. Ever.

One of the promotions for the movie - as if it needs it - is the conversion of 11 7-Eleven stores to Kwik-E-Marts. We've actually got two of them in our neck of the woods - one in L.A. and one in Burbank - and may be making a pilgrimage later this week.

And as an example of our attachment to all things Simpson, here's the cake topper TallGuy and I bought for our wedding cake last October. Just for the record, TallGuy has much more hair than Homer, and I could never get mine to look like Marge's (although I could certainly use the extra height!)
