Booking Through Thursday - "School days"

This week's BTT question:

Since school is out for the summer (in most places, at least), here’s a school-themed question for the week:

  1. Do you have any old school books? Did you keep yours from college? Old textbooks from garage sales? Old workbooks from classes gone by?
  2. How about your old notes, exams, papers? Do you save them? Or have they long since gone to the great Locker-in-the-sky?
My high-school books are long gone. I kept all my major (Accounting) textbooks from college except for my tax accounting book, which was going to be replaced by a new edition the next semester, plus my Business Law textbook, which I thought might have possible use as a future reference. I kept them in my office during my first few jobs, but they're living in a box in the closet now. After five moves and 20 years since college (!), I think they're permanent residents, although a lot of what's in them is probably out of date now. I realize a sentimental attachment to Accounting books is probably bizarre. All my other books were sold, traded, or otherwise disposed of years ago.

Even while I was still in school, I didn't usually keep old notebooks or anything unless I was taking a next-level course in the same subject the following semester, so I know all that stuff has long since decomposed.
